    Media Commission looking at investment opportunities with business sector in the East chamber Sunday
     


    The General Authority for audiovisual media, Dr. Riyad bin Kamal al-Najm Review the Commission efforts to manage licenses for all broadcasting activities and audiovisual media content in the meeting organized by the Chamber gathered with investors in the media sector in its headquarters Sunday 1 December 2013. During the meeting, to be held at 12 noon Alnajem will review major issues and challenges facing entrepreneurs, investors and workers in the audiovisual sector, in addition to the opportunities that could be invested in the private sector, talking on major business body that manages the licenses for all the activities of the broadcast and audiovisual content, production and control of all broadcast providers and audiovisual media content, make sure to comply with the regulations and the terms and conditions of the licenses issued to them, and to receive complaints relating to broadcasting and the audiovisual media content and investigated.

    The meeting is in line with the Commission's endeavors to promote audiovisual production industry with high quality and serve the local issues in the Kingdom, in addition to the rehabilitation of cadres to work in the field of radio and television industry in the Kingdom. The meeting comes as part of efforts to identify the body by a decision of the Council of Ministers in September 2012, which aims to regulate audiovisual media broadcasting and its development, and control of its content, according to the information policy of the Kingdom, as the body responsible for the broadcasting and audiovisual media content in accordance with the relevant regulations. The Chamber invitations sent to the business sector, media, interested to attend the meeting and to identify projects and future plans also allocated in Sheikh Hamad Algosaibi Hall on the first floor (men) and the island Hall on the ground floor (for ladies).
